Mariatinto started in 2002, as a winemaking project unique in its time. Not part of a proposed winery with vineyards, but an established winemaker's portfolio of wines and a lot of barrels. It begins with the assembly of a Guadalupe Valley wine that could reach the tables of the best restaurants in Mexico, without being expensive with a clear focus on the Old World wines.
The first harvest resulted in an assembly of 25 barrels, which resulted in the desired wine: complex, elegant nose, mouth, palate, not tired and that can support a wide range of dishes without overpowering them.
